Party Finger Foods Main Meals can be Tasty and Healthy

Why is it that the peoples of nations are getting fatter and fatter and fatter with each passing generation? Is it because we no longer care for our body? All we see in lifestyle magazines these days are weight loss diets for him, for her, and even for teens. Yes, obesity, once a curse of the older generations is now plaguing high school kids and even some juniors in a major way. So who do we blame, the parents?

There seems to be little care about the food we eat these days so long as it’s quick and pre-prepared. Whether it’s tasty party finger foods of the family dinner, everything these days seems to come out of a box and either heated in an oven or warmed in a microwave oven.

We are what we eat, and just look at us all in the twenty-first century! Hardly a picture or health and fitness are we? But even if we care little for our own waistline, surely we should care for the health of our children. Sadly, and going by the huge increase in child obesity, it seems that living a healthy lifestyle through food and activity is not at the top of the priority list with most parents.
