No one wants to get fat, but many of us do at some point, particularly after child birth or when we enter into soft middle age. Then when we do notice our body is starting to carry far too many pounds for comfort, a lot of us take a long hard look at ourselves and contemplate some kind of diet and fitness program in order to get back into a life that resembles one of healthy living.
At this point is become tempting to go for it with all guns blazing. Be warned! Those dangerous fast diets that promise you’ll lose 10 pounds plus in under 48 hrs, or those wacky 3 day diets plans out there on the internet are most definitely NOT the right way to go about losing weight.
A healthy you means a healthy lifestyle, and that is something best done over time and with love and respect to you and your body. Rome wasn’t built in a day, nor did any over us become overweight overnight, so it’s a bit unfair to expect it can all be gotten rid of in such haste.
