British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet Plan still around in 2012

Have you ever heard of the British heart foundation 3 day diet plan? And if so, are you tempted to try it out in a desperate attempt to lose weight in 2012? If you are, you might want to think again. This diets, and other so called fast weigh loss plans, are not good for the body, for the skin, and have absolutely no place in weight management. You might be wondering why, so let us explain.

Fat in the body takes a while to accumulated, so to think you can just watch it disperse in 3 days is wishful thinking. You may have read somewhere that these 3 day diets show results with weight loss and you would have read correct. But here’s the thing; the weight you lose is not fat but water. Needless to say that weight, and probably a pound or 2 more, will quickly return the moment you go back to eating normally.

Healthy living means to have respect for body and mind and to nurture the natural beauty of such by embracing a lifestyle that doesn’t see you getting overweight, unfit, and often lethargic.

So try to forget the fast diets and aim for a lifestyle change that will alter the way you think about yourself and you will soon be viewing the world in a fresh new perspective.
