Alpha Meditation

As we go through our normal day, we are normally at what is called the Beta level. This is a level of the mind when brainwave activity is between 14 and 21 cycles per second. When we relax and slow the mind down to between 7 and 14 cycles, we are said to be at Alpha. At the Alpha level, we let go of high emotions. We are calm, focused, and at an ideal level to facilitate meditation. Alpha meditation has proven to be very effective in utilizing the law of attraction. At this level visualization and positive thoughts are quite easy to attain. Prolonged Alpha meditation results in a calmness throughout your day. A conscious decision to go into the Alpha state three times a day for 5 to 15 minutes increases the sense of well being.
